Cookie policy — Vegasmat

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small files that a website stores on your device (computer, tablet or phone) when you visit it, to remember information from one page to another or from one visit to the next. Other browser technologies, such as localStorage and sessionStorage, do the same job.

Article 22.2 of Spanish Law 34/2002 on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (LSSI-CE) applies to all of them equally: it requires clear information and your consent, except when they are strictly necessary to provide a service you have requested. This policy follows the Guide on the use of cookies issued by the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD), in its current version.

2. What are they used for on this website?

This website only stores in your browser what it strictly needs to work:

remembering the language you choose in the language selector;
not losing what you have typed in a contact or quote form if you open the privacy policy before sending it, and knowing which form to take you back to;
keeping Vegasmat staff signed in to the administration panel (this does not affect visitors).

In addition, if you click the button to view the map on the contact page, a Google Maps map is loaded and Google may set its own cookies.

3. What are they NOT used for?

This website does not use cookies or other technologies to:

analyse or measure your visits (there is no Google Analytics or similar tool);
show you advertising or track your browsing on other websites;
build profiles of your habits or preferences;
share information with social networks through pixels or buttons that load automatically.

Fonts and JavaScript libraries (Alpine.js and GSAP) are served from our own server, so opening a page on this website does not connect your browser to any third party.

4. Who uses the stored information?

The information stored by the website itself is used only by Textura Decoración S.L. (Vegasmat), and it stays in your browser: the chosen language and the form draft are not sent to our server. What you type in a form only reaches us when you send it. Administration panel session data are used only by authorised Vegasmat staff.

If you click the button to view the map, the information in Google’s cookies is used by Google (Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublín 4, Irlanda), and Google LLC), under its cookie policy and its privacy policy.

5. Types of cookies

By the entity that manages them

First-party: managed by Vegasmat from this website. All of those in the table, except Google’s.
Third-party: managed by another entity. Only Google Maps cookies, and only if you ask to see the map.

By purpose

Technical: needed for a service you request to work (keeping a form draft, returning to it, keeping the administration panel session open).
Preference or customisation: remember an option you expressly choose, such as the language.
Analytics or advertising: this website uses none.

By duration

Session: deleted when you close the tab (sessionStorage).
Persistent: kept until you delete them or sign out (localStorage).

Why there is no cookie banner: everything the website itself stores is technical or a customisation you chose, and is exempt from consent under article 22.2 of the LSSI-CE and the AEPD guide. That is why the website does not show a cookie banner. Google’s cookies are not exempt: that is why the map is not loaded when the page opens, but only when you ask for it by clicking the button. That click is your consent to that specific content; if you do not click it, Google sets no cookies.

7. How to manage or delete them

You can view, block or delete cookies and data stored by websites in your browser settings. To delete what this website stores, clear the “site data” or “cookies and site data” for vegasmat.com. Anything stored in sessionStorage is deleted automatically when you close the tab.

If you block this storage, the website will still work, but it will not remember your language or keep form drafts. To withdraw your consent to Google’s cookies, delete them from your browser: the map will not load again unless you click the button again.
