Mats for trade shows and stands: lead times, sizes and regulations
At a trade show, the date doesn’t move. A logo mat makes your stand recognisable from the aisle, but only if it arrives in time for the build. Here’s how to plan it without any nasty surprises.
How far ahead to order
Count back from the build day:
- Delivery to the venue or the stand builder: depends on the destination.
- Manufacturing: 15 to 19 days from when you approve the proof.
- Proof and changes: a few days, depending on how many rounds the design needs.
In practice, request a quote as soon as you have your stand dimensions. If time is tight, give us the date and we’ll find the best solution.
Which size to choose
You can cover the whole stand or just the areas that matter: the entrance, the counter or the demo area. We make up to 12 × 1.96 m in a single piece and join several pieces for larger areas. For long runs and full stands we recommend the A3, which has the keenest price per metre.
The fire rating
Many exhibition venues ask you to document the reaction to fire of your stand materials. All our models are rated Cfl-s1 under the European standard EN 13501-1: a floor covering with a low contribution to fire and virtually no smoke emission. If the venue asks for the technical data sheet, you’ll find it on each model’s page.
One mat for several shows
If you exhibit at several shows a year, design it to work for all of them: your logo and brand strapline, without the date or the name of the show. After each event it’s washed (at 40 °C, or 60 °C for the A8) and it’s ready to go again.
Order checklist
- Stand plan or dimensions, and the areas to cover.
- Build date and delivery address.
- Logo or design, and your brand’s Pantone colours.
- Whether the venue asks for fire documentation.

Frequently asked questions
How far ahead do I need to order my stand mat?
Manufacturing takes 15 to 19 days from when you approve the proof, plus delivery. Order it as soon as you have your stand dimensions and, if time is tight, tell us the build date.
What fire rating do your mats have?
All models are Cfl-s1 under EN 13501-1, the rating public spaces and exhibition venues usually ask for.
Can I use the same mat at several shows?
Yes. It’s washed after each event and, if the design has no dates on it, it works for the whole season.
